As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Bangalore, India. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success and growth of our organization.


Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our operations in Bangalore, India. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the financial reporting process, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

2. Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning purposes.

3. Monitor and analyse financial performance against budget and forecast, and provide insights to senior management.

 4. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

 5. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.

 6. Manage cash flow and liquidity to support business operations and growth.

 7. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

8. Provide financial analysis and support for business decisions, including investment proposals, pricing strategies, and cost optimization initiatives

 9. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

10. Mentor and develop finance team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

11. The willingness to travel periodically to different production units situated in various states and perform audits to verify financial reports and compliance. Collaboration with production teams across multiple locations, conducting on-site inspections to assess financial records and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal guidelines are also expected of this role. Being flexible and prepared to travel as needed to ensure the organization's audit and compliance activities are completed is of utmost importance.


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.

2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.

3. Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in India.

4. Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.

5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.

7. Experience working in an export-oriented company is preferred.

8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence decision-making.

9. Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating team members.

10. High attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.

11. Demonstrated expertise and a comprehensive understanding of Goods and Services Tax (GST) rules and regulations in India, including compliance requirements, filing procedures, and reporting obligations. This includes staying updated with any changes or updates to the GST framework and effectively implementing necessary adjustments to ensure compliance within the organization.

12. Proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with GST and customs officials to facilitate timely management of GST refunds and handle customs-related situations. This includes resolving queries, providing necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with GST and customs regulations to optimize refund processes and minimize potential delays or issues.  Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships with officials and ensuring smooth interactions for the benefit of the organization.
